Abstract

A study conducted at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in China investigated the effects of Gomisin B, a natural compound, on cognitive dysfunction in mice with Alzheimer's disease. The study found that Gomisin B significantly improved cognitive function in the mice, and when combined with another compound called Osthole, the therapeutic effects were enhanced. The study suggests that Gomisin B has multifunctional properties that could be used in the development of anti-Alzheimer's drugs. This research provides a foundation for further exploration of natural active ingredients for Alzheimer's treatment. [Extracted from the article]
