Abstract

A recent study conducted by the University of Turin aimed to explore consumer preferences for avocados in Italy. The study collected responses from 817 Italian consumers through an online questionnaire. The results revealed that taste, consistency, and affordable price were the most desirable attributes for choosing avocados. The study also identified five consumer profiles in the Italian context, characterized by their preferences and socio-demographic features. This research contributes to the existing literature by providing a new approach to understanding avocado consumers' preferences and their heterogeneity. [Extracted from the article]
