Abstract

Interval Type-2 (IT2) Fuzzy-Model-Based (FMB) control design has emerged as a prominent research area within the fuzzy control field, showcasing its capability to directly address uncertainties present in nonlinear control systems. The objective of this special issue is to showcase recent research findings in the IT2 FMB systems and foster the advancement of research activities in the field of IT2 FMB control systems. Dr. H.K. Lam made a significant contribution to the field by successfully conducting stability analysis of FMB control systems under parameter uncertainty in 2008 (Lam & Seneviratne, [1]).
