家庭科保育学習の課題.

The major problems surrounding children in modern society are the declining birthrate and child abuse. The system for child-rearing support has been established in dealing with these problems. As a whole direction, this system is characterized in the flow of moving toward “the Socialization of childcare” which bears jointly with the society from the age when the family completely had the role of bringing up a child. In home economics, the aims of home care are to understand the development of infants, to experience interacting with infants, and to learn how to interact with them. It also aims for students to understand child-rearing support and recognize the importance of the role played by parents, families, communities, and society. In order for home economics childcare learning to facilitate the prevention of child abuse, it is important that its educational content does not make it natural for parents alone, especially mothers, to take care of children, and encourage them to seek support.
