Design of control system for double layer sunflower seeds dryer based on PLC.

In order to improve the degree of baking automation of dryer, and realize the feeding and hot processing of sunflower seeds, a control system for double layer sunflower seeds dryer with PLC as the core processor and touch screen as the man-machine interface was designed. The control of the double layer sunflower seeds dryer was realized by connection with the actuating and sensing components in combination with electric design. The system can realize the functions such as setting and adjustment of process parameters, monitoring of running state, recording of historical data. The average score of subjective evaluation of quality and efficiency is 43.74 points, which is much higher than 38.26 points of the single-layer oven. The experiment shows that the system is simple and its running is stable, and the subjective score is improved by 11% compared with the comparison equipment. It is suitable for the control of double layer sunflower seeds dryer. The research provides reference for ensuring high-quality sunflower seeds baking process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
