This article explores the use of wrist vibration feedback, delivered via a smartwatch, to enhance operator awareness in collaborative robotics. The research finds that users can effectively recognize different vibration patterns, leading to a 30 percent reduction in assembly time. While vibration feedback outperforms light notification, combining it with visual feedback further improves communication in shared tasks, aiming to enhance human-robot collaboration.
