Abstract

This article answers queries of readers related to cosmetics. One of the readers, Eyse Fox, a sales manager for a software company, remarked that as she got older, she felt like she was using more makeup to achieve a fresh look. Experts said that brows were her own worst enemy--they were too thick, and the shape made her look older than she is and too severe. To remedy the situation, New York City eyebrow expert Ramy shaped her brows, eliminating the "tadpole effect" and thinning them out so she could cut the combing and the brow gel from her routine. Another reader Christine Osborne of the Newton Center at Massachusetts, had the problem of gray hair. Experts recommended color for her hair.
