Abstract
- The spectrum (bound states and resonances) of different nuclei that can be described as three-body systems is investigated. The complex scaling method is shown to be an efficient tool to compute three-body resonances following exactly the same numerical techniques as for bound states. Together with this, the hyperspheric adiabatic expansion method is used to show numerical results for systems like 12C, 6He, 6Li, 6Be, 11Li, and 17Ne. © 2005 American Institute of Physics [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
