Business potential and risk tolerance of the building industry.

Modern trends in the development of construction in the context of self-regulation put forward new requirements for ensuring the quality and competitiveness of construction organizations. The main factors for ensuring the quality of products at the enterprise level are: material base, qualified personnel, the technology used for the production of work, material and technical base and effective enterprise management aimed at creating products of the required quality level. Each of the listed factors is necessary, but only in the aggregate they can be sufficient for the sustainable functioning of the enterprise. This article focuses on assessing the business potential and risk tolerance of the construction industry. The development trends and main changes in the construction industry of the Russian Federation in recent years are revealed. The consequences of the impact of the worldwide coronavirus on the functioning of the industry have been determined. The dynamics of the Index of Business Potential in Construction is presented.
