Abstract

The article focuses on a case of bullous pemphigoid (BP), an autoimmune blistering disease, in an 85-year-old woman. The study correlates serum levels of anti-BP180-NC16a antibodies and thymus and activation-regulated chemokine (TARC/CCL17), suggesting TARC might be a useful marker to predict BP disease activity along with anti-BP180-NC16a antibody titers.
