Abstract
- The article focuses on the interaction between Chinese immigrants and Mexicans in Sinaloa. Topics include the immigrants' businesses and occupations, the social interactions on a small scale, including marriages between Chinese immigrants and Mexican women, and the development of racist interpretations of these interactions. The interpretation of racism played a significant role in the anti-Chinese movement in Sinaloa, especially during the revolutionary period.
