Abstract
- Microscopic fibres provide the backbone for many materials, both manufactured and biological. Mapping these fibres provides valueable information; directional dark-field imaging is a technique capable of providing such information using imaging systems which would not otherwise be able to resolve such small structures. Here we demonstrate the first implementation of the directional dark-field version of the Unified Modulated Pattern Analysis (UMPA) speckle-based imaging technique at a laboratory source.
