Abstract

This article reports that there has been a great deal of debate on the right and wrong way to conduct an agency search, particularly when it comes to the topic of spec creative. Finding the right agency partner is almost as difficult as finding the right mate. The Air Miles Reward Program recently conducted an agency review after they had come to the difficult realization that the integrated agency model no longer made sense for business. They handpicked industry leaders for each of their marketing partnerships, Toronto's Takamatsu Group Inc. for promotions, Montreal's Saint-Jacques Vall´e Young & Rubicam for media buying and Javelin in Toronto for custom publishing.
