IT TOOLS APPLICATIONS IN AUDIT PROFESSION: THE CPA'S PERSPECTIVE.

This article discusses the use of information technology (IT) tools in auditing in Jordan. The research findings, based on a survey of auditors, show that there is awareness among auditors about the importance of using IT tools in auditing. The degree of using IT in planning and control tasks was reported to be 72.13%. The document also includes a literature review on the impact of IT tools on audit quality and the importance of using IT in auditing. The results show that IT tools are considered significant for various aspects of auditing.
