Abstract
- The integration of curricula of integrated ideology and politics and English translation of Chinese classics teaching serves the dual requirements for the improvement of students' professional skills and the connotative cultivation of their political literacy. The ultimate goal is to provide advice and suggestions for the comprehensive construction of the national talents-training system, and to cultivate more excellent translators who are devoted to "telling stories about Chinese classics". By sorting out the value implications of integrating curricula of integrated ideology and politics into English Translation of Chinese Classics, and drawing on Rodgers' theory of emotional education, this article explores the basic guidelines for curricula of integrated ideology and politics into the translation professional curriculum process. It is conducive to exploring the construction of emotional education models for both in and out of class translation teaching, and exploring implementation paths that are in line with the development trend of foreign language translation talents. The article provides new reference for the study of Chinese classic translation courses under the curricula of integrated ideology and politics conception in the new era. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
