Abstract

Three minor flavonoids were isolated from the corollas and leaves of Aeschynanthus species and cultivars using MeOH, and identified as scutellarein 7- O -(6″-methylglucuronopyranoside) (1), 6-hydroxyluteolin 7- O -(6″-methylglucuronopyranoside) (2) and nepetin 4′- O -glucuronopyranoside (3) by UV and <superscript>1</superscript>H NMR spectroscopy, LC–MS, and acid hydrolysis. These flavone glycosides are reported in nature for the first time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
