Abstract

A lightweight, compact, and high efficiency display is the essential component for AR glasses. We proposed a so‐call Front‐lit LCOS (FLLCOS) device to fit all performance metrics. It just weights less than 1gram. The size of the full module is as small as <0.52cc. It can deliver over 30000nits using Color Filter Front lit LCOS. Recently, we are also developing Color Sequential Front lit LCOS which can provide 3 times brighter image for AR applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
