Abstract

Innovative developments concerning battery technology are deeply changing our lives, from transportation to stationary applications used to store energy. Batteries are composed of materials whose production may cause adverse environmental impacts. In case the demand for these materials outpaces supply, scarcity may become a relevant problem and impact the price and feasibility of large-scale adoption of battery-powered vehicles. This paper presents the technological innovations applied to battery storage management systems. We analyzed BaxEnergy, a proactive company which aims to deliver innovative solutions to renewable energy stakeholders for complete data analysis and optimization of their power plants. BaxEnergy links multiple plants together to form a larger and interlinked system, called power-grid. BaxEnergy continuously look for new clients in order to undertake new project and becoming an even more important business reality.
