Abstract
- The article examines how Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technology owners and developers are taking advantage of carbon dioxide sequestration credit to boost CCUS projects. Topics discussed are types of CCUS technologies, storage of captured carbon dioxide, deployment of CCUS technologies in North America, enhancements to the Inflation Reduction Act to stimulate CCUS investment, and monetization of tax credits by allocating it to tax equity investors.
