Abstract

This article discusses the book "Midlife and Older Adults and HIV: Implications for Social Service Research, Practice, and Policy," edited by C.C. Poindexter and S. Keigher. This book examines fundamental issues for the midlife and older HIV population, as well as for aging persons affected by relatives and close friends living with HIV. Sensitive and resourceful, the text brings policymakers, analysts, practitioners, educators, and the general public up-to-date on the accessible social services for aging adults living with HIV/AIDS.
