Abstract

The article discusses a qualitative study conducted in the Philippines to determine the perceived impacts of implementing the microenterprise law. The study used the Grand Unified Theory of Business Development as its theoretical framework and gathered qualitative data through interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders such as microenterprise owners, consumers, suppliers, employees, and government bodies. The findings showed that the impact of the microenterprise law was generally positive and advantageous for all stakeholders. The study highlights the financial impact of government-aided assistance on microenterprises and emphasizes the importance of such assistance for a strong business economy.
