Abstract
- The article "Customer Selection Criteria: Islamic Banks in South Africa" by Moosa and Marx examines the factors that influence customers' selection of Islamic banks in South Africa. The study finds that both male and female customers prioritize religious reasons, Islamic reputation and image, economic and financial reputation, and involvement in the community when choosing a bank. There were no significant differences in selection criteria based on gender. The findings suggest that Islamic banks in South Africa should consider these criteria when designing marketing strategies. However, the study has limitations and further research is needed to understand customer selection criteria in different contexts. [Extracted from the article]
