Abstract

Applying a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative design in explaining the travel motivation of film tourists in visiting a film-shooting destination. With international tourism becoming a profitable market, the economic benefit of film- and drama-induced tourism should not be overlooked (Dean & Suhartanto, [3]; Kim et al., [13]). The findings conversed some great lengths and provided substantial contributions to investigating the effects of travel motivation and viewers' intention to travel to TV drama locations within the Malaysian market context.
