Abstract

This Paper aims to treat the waste water through the sedimentation before the Coagulation and flocculation process at Iswarya Nagar, Pollachi, in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu, India. The various literatures were studied and the project was carried and applicable for all types of wastes using in our day to day life. From the environment the various characteristics of the wastes were analyzed before the treatment. It can be treated through the wastewater treatment plant. The most common physical unit operation in wastewater treatment is treats as based on primary sedimentation. The process continues to collect up to the thickening off sludge as the end product and later it is directly treated. The settled waste is collected and removed. Hereafter, the treated water can be used for gardening purpose by using settling Processes. It may be used for several purposes such as conservation, industrial use or cooling systems, reuse in agriculture, horticulture, watering of lawns. Reuse of wastewater is becoming increasingly popular where potable water is in scarcity. Thus, the impurities can be removed by the settling process and the efficiency was attained to particular level. This is cost effective process because it reduces many other further treatments.
