Abstract
- The article reports that Minnesota Legislature passed SF3035, a measure that bans nearly all post-termination noncompete agreements with employees and independent contractors in the state of Minnesota. It mentions bill entitled the "Omnibus Jobs and Economic Development and Labor Funding Bill," was signed into law by Governor Tim Walz on May 24, 2023. It also mentions legislation represents a significant shift in Minnesota's labor and employment law.
