Provides information on the future of learning disabilities based on the Minnesota Institute for Research on Learning Disabilities study which focused on assessment and decision making in the field. Consistency between the assessment practices of the 1970s and the early 21st century; Expression of support for the application of a response-to-intervention or problem-solving model; Likelihood of technology-enhanced systems to increase the use of a response-to-intervention method by teachers.
