NEWS Centenary celebrations for the 24 Hours of Le Mans have been held all around the world this year, but this was surely the ultimate, the biennial Le Mans Classic brought forward by 12 months for its 11th edition to coincide with the landmark anniversary. While nearly every car in the exhibition was an identical model to the type that raced at the first Le Mans, the 1923 Vinot Deguingand Type BP 10hp at the event may well have been the very car that competed.
