Best Practices in Child and Adolescent Counseling Research: The Path Forward.

The future of child and adolescent counseling research is now. The call for more rigorous research designs while maintaining the humanity of the participants is critical to understanding what works and for whom. In this best practices for research report, we outlined how to plan meaningful, quality research that is grounded in current literature and best serves children and adolescents. Further, we noted substantial ways to counter racist research practices and elevate rigor of design and scholarly production.
