On Output-Voltage Shape Correction of Two- and Three-Level Single-Phase Autonomous Inverters without Pulse-Width Modulation.

A method for correcting the output voltage waveform of single-phase autonomous inverters is considered, which consists in replacing the pulse-width modulation with amplitude modulation by using multiwinding transformers from the standpoint of the theory of structural synthesis of static converters. The efficiency assessment of this method is based on the calculation of the harmonic coefficients, which are minimized when solving optimization problem. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
