NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY ANNOUNCES AWARD OF GRANTS IN BIBLIOGRAPHIC RESEARCH.

The article reports that New York Public Library has named staff members Richard J. Wolfe and C.E. Dornbusch to receive the first grants-in-aid from its Emily Ellsworth Ford Skeel Fund for bibliographical research. Dornbusch, Assistant for Exchanges in the Acquisition Branch of the Reference Library's Preparation Division, will be undertaking a revision and extension of the Bibliography of State Participation in the Civil War, 1861-1866, last published by the War Department Library in a third edition in 1913.
