CONFERENCE ON PRIMARY PUBLICATION.

The article presents information on a conference on Primary Publication, sponsored by the National Research Council from February 10-11, 1950 at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington D.C. The agenda prepared for the Conference included ten points and reviewed the responsibilities of investigators, educators and sponsors of scientific research with regard to publication, submitted statements of needs of scientific journals for financial assistance and explored various possible economies, sources of financial support and related matters.
