Abstract

The article presents information related to transportation and marine insurance. "Transportation," is a whole supplement, which is devoted to various kinds of transportation. Most of the articles are on domestic carriers, but there is one on international air cargo and its potential and another on the problems of American shipping companies. "Ever Wondered What You Can Ship by Air?," By Harry McDougall presents a discussion of how air cargo services are changing entire marketing concepts on some industries around the world. "Cargo Loss Prevention Recommendations," by the International Union of Marine Insurance, provides suggestions on how shippers, consignees, ocean carriers, port and terminal operators, air terminal operators and marine underwriters can cut cargo. "Bonnell's Directory on Packaging and Shipping," by Bonnell Publications Inc is a classified register of manufacturers and suppliers of containers, packaging materials, materials-handling equipment, and services, including those for overseas shipping, issued semi-annually.
