Abstract

Two syndromes with coexisting cardiac and bone malformations have been identified.' In ventrkuloradinl dysplasia, congenital alterations of the radius occur together with ventricular septal defect.<superscript>2</superscript> The Holl-Oram syndrome consists of atrial septal defect, cardiac arrthymias, and nialforinations of one or both thumbs.<superscript>3</superscript> This report describes four cases of the Holt-Oram syndrome studied at the Instituto Nacional de Cardiologia de Mexico.
