- Addresses the question as to why "Criminal Justice Studies" is publishing a special edition on race and justice. Belief that race is one of the most important topics in criminal justice; Increase in the scope of race and justice research, noting a focus on other minorities such as Native Americans, Latinos, and Asian Americans; Review of the articles published in this issue, noting they deal with minorities and the criminal justice system.
