- The article discusses the significant progress made in Calluna breeding, with an emphasis on extending the duration of blooming and enhancing the intensity of flower colors. It states that the Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt für Gartenbau (LVG) Bad Zwischenahn, Germany, conducted a study in 2022 to test a range of new Calluna varieties and combinations under northwestern German climate conditions.
