Abstract

In order to improve the slicing quality of single crystal silicon wafers, a tension model for multi wire sawing of single crystal silicon ingots was first established, and the reliability of the axial force model of the spindle under the assistance of the material pendulum was verified by comparing theoretical data with experimental data. On the basis of these models, a spindle axial displacement experimental device was designed to explore the effect of bearing installation parameters on the spindle axial displacement. The experimental results show that the interference will change the stiffness of the bearing joint, and then affect the axial displacement of the spindle. The axial displacement increases with the increase of the interference fit of the angular contact ball bearing, and decreases with the increase of the interference fit of the cylindrical roller bearing. When the interference of angular contact ball bearings is 0.01 mm and the interference of cylindrical roller bearings is 0.03 mm, the minimum displacement is 1.61 μm. The experimental conclusion provides a theoretical basis for optimizing the installation process of the spindle of the multi diamond wire sawing and improving the surface quality.
