This article focuses on the ability of the SabaFlex product range of elastic sewing thread to provide seam elasticity from Amman & Söhne GmbH & Co. The thread guarantees a 70 percent stretch levels unlike the conventional thread. SabaFlex is a multifilament twine made of polytrimethylenterehtalate whose elasticity depends on its molecular structure rather than mechanical changes. Being adapted to the demands of stretch clothing, it is supplied in various units. At the moment there is a range of 40 colors. The use of SabaFlex ensures a marked increase in seam elasticity.
