Abstract
- By chemical modification, long-chain amine and amidoxime functional groups were grafted onto chloromethylated cross-inked microspheres to prepare a bifunctional group anti bioadhesive uranium adsorption material, and it was used to adsorb uranium from seawater. The LAAM was characterized by infrared and element analysis. The effects of adsorption time, initial mass concentration of uranium and temperature on the adsorption properties of uranium with LAAM were investigated. The adsorption kinetics curve and adsorption isotherm were drawn. The composition of desorption agent was determined and the anti-biological adhesion performance of LAAM was analyzed. The results show that under suitable conditions, the adsorption capacity of uranium in seawater by LAAM is 3.1 mg/g. LAAM has good biological adhesion resistance and is expected to be used for uranium extraction from seawater. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
