CHINA AND GLOBAL GOVERNANCE.

The present study capitalizes on documented and written input texts included in the second volume of the Encyclopaedia of China, an endeavour carried out as part of the Projects of the Institute of Political Science and International Relations "Ion I. C. Brãtianu" of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest. The article is interested in contextualizing and highlighting China's dimensions, principles, strategies, commitments and initiatives on global governance milestones as part of strategic multilateralism, by customizing two initiatives - the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and the Global Security Initiative (GSI).
