Abstract
- The article discusses updates in the legislative regimes on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and environmental, social and governance (ESG) in the United Kingdom (UK). Also cited are the launching of the landmark Net Zero Strategy to help prevent climate change in the country in 2021, the HyNet industrial decarbonization project, and the CCS laws like the Energy Act of 2008 and the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 (EPR 2016).
