Securitizing the Just Transition.

In the article, the author discusses how the coal power industry will be adversely affected in the transition to cleaner energy systems in the U.S. and how to create and implement just transition principles in energy securitization orders to mitigate adverse effects to coal power communities. Other topics include the reasons behind the dramatic decline in the market share of coal-fired electricity generation and some laws like the Mercury and Air Toxic Standards rule.
