Abstract

This paper deals with the mesh generation methods which is mostly useful in various finite element analyses. Mesh is the complex of elements discretizing the simulation domain, e.g. triangular or quadrilateral mesh in two dimensional, tetra or hexa mesh in three dimensional. Methods for grid creation are provided, with seven mesh generation methodologies identified. The approaches for mesh creation in which nodes and elements are created through time that used to examine 2D and 3D geometry. Only four techniques were discovered to have meshed generating processes that were completely automated. Based on the element forms, mesh density and efficiency at the conclusion of the process, these techniques were compared. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
