Preparation of UV-Curable QT Silicone Resin & its Application in 3D Printing.

Abstract
- UV-curable silicone prepolymer was synthesized by hydrolytic condensation by tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) and γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH 570), which can be quickly 3D-printed by light curing LCD 3D printer. The composition and structure of silicone resin were characterized by FTIR and H NMR spectroscopy, and the UV-curing kinetics of silicone prepolymer was studied by HAAKE torque rheometer and RT-IR spectrum. The influence of different mole ratios of TEOS to KH 570 on silicone prepolymer for rapid UV-curing 3D printing were investigated. The results showed that the silicone prepolymer with excellent comprehensive performance and fast UV-curing 3D printing was successfully prepared. When the ratio of TEOS/KH570 was 5:5, its critical exposure was 4.431 mJ/cm², curing depth was 0.5226 mm, and the 3 D-printed silicone prepolymers showed good comprehensive properties.
