Research Progress on the Application of Ionic Liquid-Based Polysiloxane.

Ionic liquid is a kind of liquid molten salt with low melting point, which has wide liquid phase range, good thermal stability, low vapor pressure, excellent solubility, low toxicity and designability, and can be used as a "green solvent". Polysiloxane has the characteristics of high-low temperature resistance, good thermal stability, good defoaming, foam uniformity, good hydrophobicity and lubricity. The combination of ionic liquid and polysiloxane can integrate both advantages, resulting in the advantages of high surface activity, low viscosity and high conductivity of ionic liquid-based polysiloxane. The synthesis of ionic liquid-based polysiloxane and its application advantages and research progress in the field of photoinitiator, chromatographic analysis, electrolyte and surfactant were reviewed, and its expanded application in the field of coatings was discussed.
