Abstract

An experimental comparative research is included in this review paper in order to establish the influence of additive on biodiesel fuel combustion and performance. as well as measures to reduce emissions. Biodiesel has a number of drawbacks, including increased density, lower heating amount, more fuel utilization, and more nitrogen oxides. Emissions from diesel engine vehicles are very dangerous for human being animals and earth environment. The gases are responsible for various diseases. These emissions are also responsible for increase in temperature of earth atmosphere. For eliminating these type problem the researcher derived the Alternating fuel which is Biodiesel.the biodiesel has effective Combustion characteristics.but biodiesel have drawbacks like high viscosity high NOx emission. The exhaust gases also include carbon monoxide hydrocarbon dense particulate. To overcome these types of disadvantages we use "diethyl ether, ethanol, methanol and n-butanol" can be used as biodiesel additive for their more oxygen avaibality. Additive made the engine run better and cut the BSFC at the same time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
