Abstract
- This article presents four port MIMO system for LTE operation. The presented MIMO consists of single patch which is excited with coaxial feeding. The presented MIMO is implemented on substrate (Nylon) having dielectric constant (ε<subscript>r</subscript>) of 2.65 and dielectric loss (tan δ) 0.03. 100 X 100 X 1 mm<superscript>3</superscript> are the dimensions of the antenna. It provides 34.4% of bandwidth at 2.5 GHz (2.15 GHz to 3.01 GHz) for |S<subscript>11</subscript>|≤-10 dB. The projected model can consist of 4G band 52 (3300-3400 MHz), band 41 (2496 – 2690 MHz), band 40 (2300-2400 MHz), band 38 (2570-2620 MHz), band 34 (2010-2025 MHz) and band 30 (2305-2315 MHz) at 2.5 GHz resonating frequency with operating band width of 860 MHz. Low mutual coupling and acceptable gain is achieved in projected MIMO. Under the operating band it provides>21dB isolation among the ports.ANSYS Electromagnetic suite is used for simulation.
