A survey of machine learning techniques for lung disease detection on medical images.

Lung disease refers to a disorder of the lungs that affects the organs to breathe. Respiratory problems caused by lung disease can prevent the body from getting the oxygen it needs. Some lung diseases can lead to respiratory failure. Respiratory diseases can be caused by infections, tobacco smoking, air pollution, and more. Recently, the deadly corona virus was added to this list. Respiratory problems caused by lung disease can be severe enough to require hospital treatment, even with oxygen or a ventilator and sometimes even causing death. This paper analyzes different approaches to image-based machine learning technique with different classifiers to predict various diseases and their effectiveness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
