Abstract

The article focuses on the Federation of European Nutrition Societies (FENS) and their efforts to improve the credibility and trustworthiness of nutrition science. Topics include the development of guidance for writing and reviewing the lack of standardized approaches in disseminating nutrition research, and the need for accurate communication to the public; and FENS Working Group has identified the press release as a source of inaccuracy and exaggeration in nutrition science communication.
