Abstract

The article discusses a confirmed case of Legionnaires disease in an adult U.S. resident who had recently traveled to the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI). The article discusses the patient's symptoms, travel history, and treatment. It also highlights the investigation conducted by the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health (VIDOH) and CDC's Legionella program to determine the source of the Legionella bacteria.
