Synthesis and preparation of Li2MnO3 microwave dielectric ceramics.

Abstract
- Pure Li<subscript>2</subscript>MnO<subscript>3</subscript> powders were synthesized at 900 °C for 4 h by a solid-state reaction method. Li<subscript>2</subscript>MnO<subscript>3</subscript> ceramics were prepared in the temperature range of 1100 °C to 1250 °C. All the samples displayed a single phase structure. The microwave dielectric properties of sintered samples were closely related to sintering temperature and microstructure. The Li<subscript>2</subscript>MnO<subscript>3</subscript> ceramics exhibited a well microwave dielectric properties of ε<subscript>r</subscript> = 12.5, Q × f = 43150 GHz, τ<subscript>f</subscript> = −9.5 ppm/°C at 1200 °C.
